NOOK for iPad Users Can Now Get 175 Periodicals On Their App
Good news for NOOK for iPad users – you can now subscribe to 175 digital periodicals including full-color and interactive magazines. Previously only available to NOOK Color, Barnes & Noble is rolling out subscription to these periodicals for the iPad app users.

Among the 175 are popular titles such as Esquire, Popular Science, The Washington Post, ESPN The Magazine, Maxim, Newsweek, and Food Network Magazine among others. Updates for the grown-ups aside, the kids’ version of the app also gets 550 titles of interactive children’s picture books. All the 175 periodicals offer 14-day free trial if you’re not sure which ones to get yet. The NOOK for iPad is a free app that also gives users access to the 2 million book available for download on the Barnes & Noble’s virtual bookstore.

Aside from the iPad app, Barnes & Noble also offers NOOK for iPhone and iPod Touch. The NOOK Color device in and of itself enjoys successful sales as a tablet, and reports millions of app downloads.
