Grand Central Apple Store Renderings Have Been Released
Once rumored to have been a non-event, the plans for a new Apple Store in Grand Central Station in New York City are apparently coming through. Finally we can get a sneak peek at what the new store will look like because the NYC Metropolitan Transit Authority has released some renderings.

When Apple begins moving in, they will be taking the space occupied by the Metrazur restaurant, paying them $5 million to move on out. A restaurant called Shake Shack will be moving in also adding to the whole Apple product browsing experience.
As Apple’s usual minimalistic style combines with Grand Central’s extravagance, this new Apple Store’s experience should be second to none.
Apple has seen great profits and sales even in a tough economy and they chalk much of the success to their retail store chain. They expect this location to be no different. I certainly hope so with 1.1 million in rent.
