BlackBerry Bold 9930 Unveiled For Verizon Before Official Release
A golden nugget awaited everyone visiting Verizon’s web site for the BlackBerry 9650 earlier. Upon clicking “Explore Features” to watch the phone’s video demo, they were instead shown a video of the BlackBerry Bold 9930 – an unannounced device for Verizon Wireless.

Oh yes, there are definitely hints. Early in June, a Google ad promoting the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9930 for Verizon floated around. But there was never any official word from either RIM or Verizon. It’s not official this time either, of course. But you can’t get more concrete about the Bold 9930 landing on Verizon than the existence of a demo vid. The BlackBerry Bold 9930 is also headed to Sprint along with the BlackBerry Torch 9850.
The blunder has already been corrected as of this post’s writing. But now that we know what there is to be known, it doesn’t really matter. Though we bet the one responsible for it couldn’t really say the same.
