Reminder: Best Buy Selling AT&T Nexus S Today
A few days ago, our man Robert told you about Best Buy had announced that they would be selling an AT&T version of the Samsung Nexus S. This is similar to what they’ve done with other Nexus S phones where Best Buy is the exclusive seller of these phones. For those who were waiting, Best Buy is now selling the phone for just $99 on their website site and in their stores.

Here are the specs of the Galaxy S, which is the second Google Android “flagship” device, following last year’s Nexus One:
- Android 2.3
- 4.0-inch Super OLED display
- 1GHz Hummingbird processor
- 512MB RAM
- 16GB memory
- 5MP Camera
- VGA (1.3MP) camera
While Sprint is offering 4G version of this phone, this version of the Galaxy S being offered for AT&T through Best Buy does not appear to have HSPA+ support, meaning you won’t get 4G speeds on AT&T. Something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a new phone. One plus about getting the Galaxy S is that by using the Google flagship Android device, you’ll always be first to receive updates to the Android operating system.
The price is pretty good for a phone of this quality, $99 for a two-year service contract. As we alluded to, Best Buy Mobile is selling this phone exclusively so you’ll have to pick it up from online or in one of their stores. AT&T’s website and AT&T stores will not be selling the Nexus S, so heads up on that.
Anybody planning to pick one of these up?
