HTC Salsa Not a Facebook Phone In China
HTC got together with Facebook and made a beautiful friendship resulting in the creation of the HTC Salsa and Chacha Android phones. They come with a nifty little button with a direct link to Facebook activities. All of that is fine and good for the many Facebook users in America and various other nations, but what about China? Apparently HTC wants to cater to the 50 billion active Chinese users of the social network Weibo.

It has been leaked that the Chinese version of the HTC Salsa does not adorn the beloved Facebook icon on the button on the front. What does it have instead? The logo to the very popular Chinese social network Weibo will be taking the throne.
The specs will be remaining quite the same. Just the button label and what it links to will be different. Do you think ditching Facebook for Weibo in China is a smart move for HTC?
