Code Veronica X, Resident Evil 4 HD Release Dates Announced [Resident Evil 4 & Code Veronica X HD Remakes Landing On Xbox Live & PlayStation Network This September]

HD remakes are all the rage these days, and Capcom is jumping on that bandwagon with HD re-releases of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X and Resident Evil 4. They revealed these new titles way back in March, and now they’ve now given us release dates for both downloadable remakes.

Thankfully, those of you experiencing a biting anticipation for these games don’t have to wait very long before you can get your hands on them, because Capcom says that Resident Evil 4 will be up on September 20th, with Code Veronica X following just a week after and arriving on September 27th. Both games will be available through Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network, and there’s no word on pricing at the moment (I wouldn’t expect to pay any less than $15 for either game, though).

If you’re searching for these on Xbox Live, be aware that they won’t be listed on Xbox Live Arcade. Instead, you’ll have to go through Games on Demand, which is a move that allows Capcom to give both Code Veronica X and Resident Evil 4 a full 1000 achievement points each.

So, how about it? Will you be picking up these HD re-releases, or are you just going to stick with your original copies? I would be all about Resident Evil 4 on launch day, but it releases the same day as Gears of War 3, so unfortunately I already have plans that day. Head down to the comments section and tell us what you think of these Resident Evil HD remakes!
