Lenovo LePad/IdeaPad Tablet A1-07 Revealed In FCC Filing
Lenovo recently unveiled the ThinkPad tablet along with the IdeaPad K1 and the IdeaPad P1. The K1 is a Honeycomb tablet, the P1 is a Windows 7 tablet and the ThinkPad tablet is expected to be the answer for the business class. Needless to say, while these three tablets are different, they all shared one thing — 10 inch displays.

Anyway, thanks to a recently discovered FCC filing, it seems that Lenovo fans may have another tablet to look forward to seeing come available. And perhaps more important — it looks to be a 7 inch tablet.
The FCC filing lists the tablet as the LePad A1-07 and also as the IdeaPad A1-07. Given that, we believe the -07 portion of the model number to be reflecting the display size. Unfortunately though, there was little detail revealed in these listings. Or maybe more accurately, there was almost no detail revealed in these listings.
According to what we have seen after digging around a bit — there are the labels as you can see above and there was the fact that the A1-07 comes bearing support for Bluetooth. And sad as that is, a tablet having support for Bluetooth is not much as far as news goes.
Bottom line here, we can tell you that it looks like Lenovo is working on something. More important, it looks like they are working on something in addition to what they announced the other day. Of course, with that and similar to many of these FCC reveals, we are going to have to keep an eye out for more information which hopefully will come as official by way of Lenovo.
Otherwise, the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 is expected to arrive by July 20th, the IdeaPad P1 sometime this year and the ThinkPad Tablet sometime in August. And lastly, the IdeaPad K1 and the ThinkPad Tablet have both been available for pre-order.
