Best Buy Makes It Official, The Samsung Nexus S Is Coming To AT&T This Sunday
The Samsung Nexus S is coming to AT&T. And aside from the thoughts of finally, the good news is that those who may have been waiting will not have much longer to wait. The handset is going to be available for purchase very soon and in fact, it is available for pre-order as of today.

Of course, this AT&T branded Nexus S joins the Sprint and T-Mobile branded model. And in this case, that is almost a literal statement as the AT&T Nexus S will be available with Best Buy. The handset will be available for pre-order beginning today July 21st and then land in Best Buy retail stores, Best Buy Mobile specialty stores and online beginning Sunday July 24th.
Similar to the other versions of the handset, the AT&T model will come priced at $99.99 on a two year agreement. And with that, it looks like Verizon is going to remain as the last of the big four carriers to not offer the Nexus S.
The Nexus S is certainly not the newest phone to come on the market. But at the same time, it is still sporting decent specs and currently running the latest version of Android — 2.3 Gingerbread. Then again, part of the reason to buy the Nexus branded phones is that they come with a pure Android experience and get the Android updates first. In other words, those buying the Nexus S now can expect to get Ice Cream Sandwich in the coming months.
Otherwise, while we imagine that many here are familiar with the specs, lets do a quick recap just in case.
