Windows Phone 7.5 Mango To Be Released By September
Twitter has been a place where many people have accidentally squeaked private and classified information. Once out, it’s out, as is the case with the recent leakage of the alleged release date of the newest Windows Phone update, code named Mango. As people are eagerly awaiting the update with cool features such as visual voicemail and indoor maps, everyone gets excited when a release date is leaked.

Apparently a Microsoft employee involved with the Microsoft Imagine Cup published this tweet about some prize winners: “ImagineCup finalists ALL receive Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Release!! Each student will get the phone by September!”
I find this interesting because I’m sure the prizes won’t be pre-release phones so the date of the prize giveaways can’t come before a release date. Somebody knows something and made an oops! Should we expect the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango release by September or was this just Microsoft’s way of creating some excitement?
Microsoft is working hard on their mobile phone platform to stay in the game with such competitors as Google and Apple. Some of the new features in Mango , such as the new music and video hub and improved navigation and multitasking, ought to help create some buzz for them.
