iPad 3 / iPad 2 HD Parts Get Leaked Months Before Actual Release Date
The iPad 2 is making a killing in the tablet business so far, as no other manufacturer can really fight Apple yet. But the Cupertino-based giant already has its sights set for the future of its tablet considering the increased number of iPad 3 / iPad 2 HD / iPad 2 Pro / iPad 2 Plus rumors we keep seeing.

Today a Taiwanese blog you may be familiar with from previous Apple leaks, Apple.pro, is showing us leaked components of this next-gen iPad version. We have no idea yet what Apple’s going to call the new tablet, but we’re looking at a connector that has a different product number than the current connector used in the iPad 2. The next-gen iPad connector comes with a clear label that reads: 821-1259-06, shown in the zoomed section of the image below. The iPad 2 connector on the other hand has a different part number, 821-1180-A, so we’re clearly looking at a new component here, but that’s not enough to prove it’s going to be used in an iPad 3 / iPad 2 HD tablet version.

Also worth noting is that there’s a plastic tip on that connector that suggests we’re looking at a part made for a white iPad 3 / iPad 2 HD, which is pretty much what we expect from Apple anyhow in terms of color choices for its tablets and smartphones.
The only way to confirm the rumors, other than having Apple acknowledge them, would be to wait for the actual iPad 3 / iPad 2 HD to be launched in stores, as a certain team I know will dismantle it in a matter of minutes.

Is anyone holding out of an iPad 3 / iPad 2 HD? Should Apple launch such a product later in fall? Let’s hear your thoughts in the comments section below.
