LG Revolution & Samsung Droid Charge On Sale For Cheap From Target
Think of some of the places you might go to buy a new phone. The carrier’s own store? Best Buy? Radio Shack? Maybe even Walmart. Target probably isn’t one of them. But, Target’s website is offering some incredible deals on two just released 4G Verizon phones powered by Android – the LG Revolution and Samsung Droid Charge.

Target’s website is selling the LG Revolution for $49.99 with a new two-year contract, and they’re selling the Samsung Droid Charge for $149.99 with a two-year contract. Not only are these good prices for any top-notch Android smartphone, but Verizon has been charging a bit more for their 4G phones to cover the cost of building their new 4G network.
To show you how such a good deal these $50/$150 prices are, Verizon is officially selling the same phones for $249/$299, respectively. So, you’re getting quite a good deal (the Samsung Droid Charge is more expensive than the LG Revolution, despite being a few weeks older).
I won’t comment as to the quality of these devices as I actually have both in my hand for an official TFTS review of them. But, here’s a rundown of the specs of these two new 4G phones.
LG Revolution specs:
- 4.3-inch LCD screen
- 1Ghz Snapdragon processor
- 512MB RAM
- 16GB memory
- 5MP camera
- VGA (1.3MP) front-facing camera
- Android 2.2
Samsung Droid Charge specs:
- 4.3-inch Super OLED screen
- 1Ghz Hummingbird processor
- 512MB RAM
- 2GB memory
- 8MP camera
- VGA (1.3MP) front-facing camera
- Android 2.2
As mentioned, I am currently reviewing both devices for this very website. If you’re interesting in buying both of these phones, the LG Revolution review will be up today while the Samsung Droid Charge review should be up in a week or so.
