Motorola Droid 3 Prices, Specs & Features Make New Appearance; Release Date Still July 7?
We just saw some Droid Bionic rumors earlier today and now we’re back for some Motorola Droid 3 action. The latest family member of the Motorola Droid dynasty is coming soon, most likely tomorrow, and the masses can’t wait for it to hit. We’ve seen its specs and features get leaked a bunch of times before and it looks like Verizon dropped the ball again today.

Droid-Life managed to grab a screenshot of a Droid 3 YouTube video posted and then pulled by Verizon, and, as you can clearly see below, Verizon is getting ready to seriously promote this new Android smartphone coming from Moto. Among the specs and features, which we’re already familiar with ever since the Milestone 3 (international Droid 3 version) started selling in China a few weeks ago, we can easily spot a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch qHD display, “new full 5-row keyboard”, 1080p video capture and front and rear cameras.

If that’s not enough to prove the handset is getting ready to start selling tomorrow, through some channels, then we have some extra details for you, the official pricing details for the handset. As expected the Droid 3 will sell for $199 when purchased with a new two-year contract, while the full, off-contract price for the handset is $459, a figure some will find more than affordable.
Not all of you may be able to purchase the Droid 3 tomorrow, as the handset will initially be available for direct fill orders, but come July 14 the handset should be available via all Verizon’s channels. Hopefully, if nothing goes terribly wrong, tomorrow we’ll be able to confirm all these details after Big Red releases the official press materials. Until then we’re definitely interested to hear your thoughts on the Droid 3 so go right ahead, start using the comment section below.
