HTC Flyer Tablet Coming To T-Mobile UK Later This Month
The HTC Flyer has already come available in the UK, however it looks like it will soon be available by way of wireless carrier. Yup, T-Mobile UK appears to have updated their coming soon device page and it now includes a release timeframe for the Gingerbread running tablet.

According to the coming soon page on the T-Mobile UK website, the HTC Flyer will be arriving in July 2011. In other words, it will be arriving sometime this month, as in the next few weeks. Of course, while that sounds like good news, we are still waiting on the finer points — namely the price and an exact release date.
That aside though, in addition to the Flyer, T-Mobile UK will also be launching the Sony Ericsson Xperia neo, LG Optimus 3D, HTC Sensation and the Motorola Wilder sometime this month. In short, it looks like a pretty exciting month for T-Mobile UK and Android devices. Also, similar to what we would expect with these types of updates from carriers, there is the button to click so you can “register your interest.” Well, that is as long as you don’t mind trading a bit of personal information for the privilege of being notified.
Needless to say, we would hope to see T-Mobile UK offer this at a fair, and by fair we mean low price given you can already buy a 3G-capable Flyer tablet with 32GB of internal storage by way of retailers such as Clove. And for those wondering, the contract free price with Clove is currently set at £562.80 (including VAT). Otherwise, the Flyer features a 7 inch (1024 x 600) touchscreen display, 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, 4000 mAh battery, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and a 5 megapixel rear facing camera. And lastly, the Flyer is running Android 2.3 with HTC’s Sense user interface.
