HTC Eternity Windows Phone 7 Smartphone Details Leaked [Unannounced HTC WP7 Smartphone Image & Specs Revealed, Will Arrive Powered By A 1.5GHz Processor]

For those who may have been waiting for a next-generation Windows Phone smartphone, it looks like details on one such model have just been leaked. The handset is the HTC Eternity and while we still have nothing in terms of a release date, carrier or price — it does give us something to look forward to arriving.

In other words, while maybe not the highest specs around, this one is sporting features that are a nice improvement over the current crop of Windows Phone handsets. As for the specs, they read as follows;

4.7 inch WVGA Super LCD display
Single-Core 1.5GHz MSM 8255 processor
512MB RAM
16GB internal storage
GPS
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
3.5mm headphone jack
DLNA
1650 mAh battery
8 megapixel rear facing camera with auto-focus, dual LED flash and 720p video recording
1.3 megapixel front facing camera

And for those following a little closer to the details that we have seen with Mango, you may have noticed something — given the front facing camera — that means the HTC Eternity will come with Mango already installed.

Of course, while all this sounds really nice right about now, we have to wonder how it will look when it comes available. Bottom line, this device could compete now, but if HTC and Microsoft wait another year before this is released then it will not be nearly as exciting. Nonetheless, while a new HTC made WP7 handset will be nice to see, we cannot help but remain excited about what Nokia has in the pipeline.

And lastly, you can rest assured in knowing that the crew here at TFTS will remain on the lookout for those finer details — you know, the price, release date (or timeframe) and perhaps most important — the carrier. That said, we are not even sure which areas of the world the Eternity is destined for.
