Sprint & Motorola Already Prepping XPRT Smartphone Follow-Up Device? [Leaked Image Suggests Motorola & Sprint Are Working On A Follow-Up To the Business-Minded XPRT Smartphone]
This latest bit comes with more speculation than actual information, however it does give hope for those looking for another candybar style handset with a QWERTY keyboard to come available with Sprint. That being said, what we have is a single image of a Motorola and Sprint branded handset that looks similar to that of the Motorola XPRT.

Of course, some will likely realize that the XPRT has not been available with Sprint for all that long ago, actually it came available earlier this month. Then again, there was the original model of this phone, the Droid Pro which launched with Verizon back in November of last year. But as to this image, it is clearly Sprint branded.
Basically, it looks like we have a mystery device on hand. In other words, the image can by itself and with nothing in terms of a name, an estimated price or estimated release date. Heck, there was not even much in terms of rumored specs. In fact, the image came from Pop Herald and was accompanied with nothing more than this;
According to the tipster, the next QWERTY Motorola smartphone is curvier compared to the Motorola XPRT (the overall form of the phone), and the phone will include an Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box.
We also asked for other new features of the new Sprint Moto phone, and the tipster added that the physical QWERTY keyboard of the unannounced phone was slightly modified, now with a “smile pattern,” compared to XPRT’s “ruler pattern.”
Otherwise, it was also noted that this model could come equipped with support for 4G WiMax. And in that respect, a quick follow up to the current XPRT smartphone would make sense. Now it looks like we need to dig up some information as to when it will be available and how much it will set those interested back.
