Google+ vs Facebook or How Google Wants to Make a Few Enemies Too [Google Launched Google+ Project; We Show You How It Works: Circles, Sparks, Hangouts, Huddle & More]
Well, Facebook, it looks like Google is ready to up the ante in the social networking business. Google+ is the name of Google’s social network, which was made official today, and it’s pretty clear that, if there’s something tech-related out there getting interest from consumers, Google wants a piece of it.

Google isn’t the Search-only company out there, and that’s more than obvious. Mountain View is interested in smartphones and mobile devices, computers, and social networking. That way Google would control our whole online activity and make more money of Search. Not that’s necessarily a bad thing since Google is following its own interests as any other business, and wants to grow from year to year. But do we want Google to become such an important player in our lives?
Google+ is a clear response to Facebook, and any other social network out there, although it’s not just a simple copycat. Google wants to reinvent social networking and this might just work, especially considering that Google has a certain advantage on Facebook, a huge customer base that’s already using plenty of Google services. That’s right, there are a few hundred million active Google accounts that could start using Google+ in the near future, so Google won’t start from scratch like Facebook did. And that’s how Google could become an important player in the social networking field.
Naturally we expect a fierce battle between Facebook and Google when it comes to social networking. Let’s not forget that Facebook has some interesting new plans in the mobile space too, and that’s why it could have hired George Hotz in the first place.
So how does Google+ work? Well we have some videos for you to check out today which better explain the Google+ project. They have been created by Google to show the main features of Google+.
+Circles: share what matters, with the people who matter most
+Sparks: strike up a conversation, about pretty much anything
+Hangouts: stop by and say hello, face-to-face-to-face
+Mobile: share what’s around, right now, without any hassle
+Instant Upload
+Huddle
So what do you say, folks, will you Google+ or will you keep using your current social networks (and yes, that means mostly Facebook)?
