Sony Announces PSP Dual Packs
All eyes may be on the PS Vita at the moment, but Sony’s giving the PSP one more go before their new handheld takes center stage later this year (or early next year). They’ve announced a round of PSP bundles to compliment their upcoming PS3 collections, called PSP Dual Packs, which will package two UMDs together for a cool $14.99.

Three dual packs were revealed with Sony’s announcement: Secret Agent Clank and Daxter, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and SOCOM: US Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo, and Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow and Killzone: Liberation. Why they split up the Syphon Filter games is anyone’s guess, but otherwise this seems to be a pretty solid PSP offering for the slow summer months.
These dual packs will also be available for purchase from PSN, in case you’ve left UMDs in the dust or are planning ahead and want to play these on your PS Vita. At the moment, these have only been confirmed for North America, but it seems pretty likely that Sony will bring these to other regions soon.
Sony seems to have gone a little bit bundle-crazy lately, announcing Uncharted, Resistance, and Ratchet & Clank titles for PS3 just last week. I’m sure no one really minds though, since it’s a pretty frugal way to catch up on some PSP and PS3 titles you may have missed the first time around.
So, do any of these PSP Dual Packs catch your eye? How about those spiffy new PS3 bundles? Let us know what you’re picking up in the comments section below!
