Journey Closed Beta Kicking Off Tomorrow [Thatgamecompany Details Journey Closed Beta, Only Open To The 'Earliest Adopters Of Flower' Who Also Have A PlayStation Plus Subscription]

Thatgamecompany has supplied details about the Journey closed beta they announced last week, but it sound like only a tiny number of people are going to be able to participate. The beta starts tomorrow, and the only way you’re guaranteed a spot is if you have PlayStation Plus and you were “one of the very earliest adopters of Flower.”

If that sounds like you, then there may be a beta invitation heading for your XMB inbox at some point today. Barring that, you’ll be at the mercy of code giveaways through thatgamecompany’s Facebook page and the PlayStation Blog if you want to land a spot in this beta. Luckily, details on how you can win a code are up on their Facebook page now, and all you need to do to enter is send an email to journeybeta@thatgamecompany.com with one or two sentences about why you want to participate.

They’ll be accepting emails until 7 PM Pacific time tonight, at which point they’ll draw names and announce the winners over Facebook. At the moment, this beta is only available to those who have a North American PSN account, but thatgamecompany says a European beta is coming in July (and also points out that PSN accounts are free to create).

This limited Journey beta kicks off tomorrow, June 28th, and runs until July 12th. Journey’s been making waves ever since it was announced, so it’s no surprise that PS3 owners are flocking to thatgamecompany’s Facebook page to ask for codes.
