HTC EVO 3D Announced For Europe

The HTC EVO 3D just recently launched here in the US market and it looks like it will soon be available for those in Europe. Yup, HTC has come forward with an official announcement in terms of the European roll-out.

That being said, according to HTC the EVO 3D will come available in Europe in July though nothing more specific was given as to when in July. In addition, the countries where it will be coming available was described just as general;

“The HTC EVO 3D will be broadly available in Europe from July.”

Of course, you can count on the crew here at TFTS to keep you up to date in terms of specific countries, carrier and pricing as those details come available. Otherwise, the EVO 3D that will be launching in Europe is what many here in the US have recently seen.

In other words, those in Europe can expect a handset running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC’s Sense user interface on top. In addition, the EVO 3D is sporting a 4.3 inch qHD display, dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 1GB internal storage, microSD card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, HDMI and a 1730 mAh battery.

In addition those who make the purchase will also be able to find dual 5 megapixel cameras with auto-focus and dual LED flash on the back as well as a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front. In terms of the rear facing cameras, those can record 2D and 3D video in up to 720p resolution and up to 30 frames per second. And lastly, the display, while 4.3 inches and qHD in resolution — is also stereoscopic which means a glasses-free 3D experience.

All said and done, it looks like those in Europe will soon have another 3D capable smartphone to choose from. And for those who may have missed the previous offering, that handset was the LG Optimus 3D.
