Saints Row: The Third Extended Developer Walkthrough Released

Saints Row fans will be pleased to know that Volition’s Drew Holmes recently sat down to record a seven-and-a-half minute demo of Saints Row: The Third. Even better than that, it’s filled with all of the crazy gameplay the Saints Row series is known for, and you can check it out after the break.

Holmes says at the beginning of the demo that Saint’s Row: The Third is “the most ridiculous, most over-the-top experience in gaming,” and reiterates that a few times throughout the course of the playthrough. Indeed, Saints Row: The Third is over-the-top from the get-go, with Holmes assaulting civilians with various wrestling moves and oversized sex toys, obliterating these innocents completely with the a weapon called the Apoco-fist, and calling in an airstrike that wipes out an entire gang of Mexican wrestlers.

Basically, the trailer is awesome. Of course, what’s listed above is merely the tip of the iceberg, and it wouldn’t be very nice of me to ruin much more. Suffice to say, fans of the first two games will probably be pretty happy with what they see here, and anyone who wants their open world experience to be a little more insane should give it a watch as well.

Saints Row: The Third is out on November 15th for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, which adds yet another great game release to an already packed fall 2011. I’m thinking it’ll be worth the extra money though (on top of Skyrim, Arkham City, Gears 3, etc.) because it’s looking pretty great so far.
