Motorola Droid 3 Accessories Show Up; Release Date Imminent?
At this particular point in time nobody is really trying to hide the fact that the next Motorola Droid family member, the Droid 3, is going to hit Verizon soon. In fact we’ve seen the smartphone featured in so many leaks so far that we’re more than sure the handset will be launched in the very near future.

In fact Chinese customers are already able to purchase the Motorola Milestone 3 in stores, which happens to be the GSM nemesis of the Droid 3, so it seems that we’re just waiting for Verizon to find some free time to start selling the phone already.
In the mean time the first Droid 3 accessories have started to appear, since you’re obviously going to want to purchase some accessories with a new phone. Today we see the first snap-on case for the Droid 3 coming from Qmadix, and we expect even more items to appear soon.
The “Snap-on Cover with Holster for Motorola Droid 3” will cost you $29.99 and will offer the following features:
- Form-fitted, impact resistant
- Protects from dirt and scratches
- Textured rubberized provides a secure grip
- Snap-On allows for easy access to the kickstand
- Durable ratcheting swivel belt clip allows for use in the vertical or horizontal position
- Snap-On Cover allows you to easily slide your device in and out of the holster sleeve
Before you commit to buying your first Droid 3, you’d better wait for the phone to be actually available, and speaking about the handset, here are its main characteristics: 4-inch 960 x 540 qHD touchscreen display, dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording and LED flash, front-facing camera, up to 32GB of storage, five-row QWERTY keyboard and Android 2.3 Gingerbread under the hood. Anyone ready to replace the “old” Motorola Droid or Motorola Droid 2 with a brand new product refresh?

Definitely!!!!!!!!!! I’ve been waiting for this darn thing since early May!!!!!!! I cant wait, it will be the only verizon phone with a frontal cam and a physical keyboard. for those who do desktop remote controlling (seriously need the physical keyboard) and needs to do conference video chatting (frontal camera!!!!)
Come out tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! I want it!!!!!!
I’ve been waiting for a phone that had a physical keyboard for ever. Its a lot better than using the modded usb hack for a full keyboard for the droid 1. I’ve been waiting for this since april.
Sent from my droid 1.
If its got 1GB of RAM I’m getting it the first day. If not, I’m waiting for the user reviews. I’ve seen rumors of 512MB and 1GB so I’m keeping my fingers crossed…
I’m hearing rumors that the droid 3 might not be 4g is this true?
Yeah it’s most likely not a 4G LTE phone if that’s what you’re asking. The Droid Bionic will be a 4G phone.
This is true, the droid 3 is only 3g
I want this phone so bad!!!!!! If it would come out tomorrow that would be AWESOME. Hoping it will come out before the rumored release date of July 7
If no LTE 4G and no 1 gig of ram…no droid 3 for me….!
“since you’re obviously going to want to purchase some accessories with a new phone”
I learned my lesson a couple phones ago, most of the accessories are completely un-necessary and ended up doing more damage than good. I got my droid 1 on the release day and kept it nothing but my pocket
I will be lined up to pickup mine July 7th
Been waiting since May also. Don’t care that it’s not 4g. There’s not much of a difference anyways. Keyboard looks stellar. I’m barely holding on with my lame blackberry. C’mon Verizon throw us a bone!!!
Just ordered… and it’s confirmed 1GB.
