Sprint Premier Customers Can Now Pre-Order An HTC EVO 3D

Sprint officially announced the EVO 3D smartphone (along with the EVO View tablet) back on June 6th and at that time they offered both a release date and a price. And while there is still a few days before the handset will be available for all customers, it looks like Premier customers are now able to part with their money.

That being said, those who are Sprint Premier customers are now able to visit the Sprint website and place a pre-order for the EVO 3D. And aside from being able to place an order three days ahead of the general release, this does not seem to be offering anything all that special. Though, there are a few perks for Premier pre-orders which includes free shipping if you place your order online as well as a waived upgrade fee.

In other words, these are simply pre-orders which means that you will not be getting early hands-on — the device is still going to ship as of the 24th. Plus, as you would expect, the price remains the same for all customers — $199.99 on a two year agreement, which comes after a $350 instant savings. Thankfully, there is nothing to worry about mailing in. And for those without the ability to do the quick math in your head, the regular no contact price is $549.99.

Otherwise, the HTC EVO 3D features a 4.3 inch 3D qHD touchscreen display, dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8660 processor, 4G/3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card slot, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and a 5 megapixel camera with flash and zoom on the back.

In addition, the EVO 3D has glasses-free 3D and comes with support for services to include Sprint TV, GPS Navigation, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile and Sprint Music Plus. And in terms of which version of Android, the EVO 3D will arrive with 2.3 Gingerbread.
