Unlocked Nokia E6 Now Available for Pre-order on Amazon

Ever since Nokia and Microsoft announced their infamous WP7 partnership, which is expected to bring some very interesting devices later this year, and, most importantly, ever since we found out that Nokia simply doesn’t appear to want to invest anymore in its own Symbian OS, despite saying otherwise, it’s been really kind of hard to get excited about any of the current, and future Symbian devices.

In fact that’s a pretty silly PR move if you ask me, announcing that you have no plans to better Symbian in the future, but keep launching Symbian phones at the same time. One such device is the Nokia E6, now available for pre-order from Amazon in the USA. The phone will be shipping only later this year, so I don’t encourage you to pre-order it right away. Considering that no U.S. carrier leaked any hints about offering a subsidized E6 to its consumers, the phone offered for pre-order is an unlocked device, but that also means you’ll have to pay full price for it, or $446 of your hard-earned cash.

While I can’t say I’ll own any Nokia smartphone in the near future, and I’m still waiting to be wooed by the first WP7 Nokia devices, some people will certainly want to play with the Nokia E6 for a while, so here’s what you’ll get in return for that full price you get to pay for the handset:
