HTC Sensation 4G Will Be Available With T-Mobile Today

If you had been waiting for T-Mobile to release the HTC Sensation 4G, then today is the day you have been waiting for. As of today the handset will come available for purchase. But that being said, let us offer that news with a brief warning.

The handset is available for purchase by way of the T-Mobile website where it is priced at $199.99 on a two-year agreement. And just to clarify, that $199.99 comes after a $50 mail in rebate. In other words, you will need to be prepared to shell out $249.99 on the day of purchase.

And now for the warning — those looking to make a purchase should hold tight for a little while and make sure you follow along with the official T-Mobile Twitter account because they have let us know that they will be offering a promotional code later today. According to T-Mobile;

“Planning to purchase the HTC Sensation 4G online? Keep an eye on T-Mobile’s Twitter acct. for a $50 off promotional code Wed. morning.”

That said, the promotional code should take the price down to a much nicer sounding $149.99.

In terms of the specs, the Sensation 4G will arrive touting goodies such as a 4.3 inch qHD (960 x 540) touchscreen display, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 768MB RAM, 1GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 1520 mAh battery, VGA quality front facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with auto-focus, dual LED flash and 1080p video recording.

In addition there is also Android 2.3 Gingerbread and HTC’s Sense user interface as well as the usual perks including GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.5mm headphone jack. And lastly, T-Mobile will also throw in an 8GB microSD card.

All said and done, the Sensation 4G should make a nice addition to the T-Mobile Android lineup. Plus, this one comes with the larger 4.3 inch display that many have been waiting for.
