InstaPhoto App Now Available For The BlackBerry PlayBook
One of the main complaints that we hear (and also spout off ourselves) in regards to the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet comes in regards to the lack of available apps. That being said, here is an app that has recently come available that seems worthily of a mention. And assuming you use the camera on your PlayBook, it may be worthy of a download as well.

Of course, some will likely shy away from camera apps as they may not use the camera all that often for anything other than video chatting — I will say this, while I use the camera on my smartphone much more often, I do find myself using the camera on tablets more than I would have expected.
Anyway, without any further adieu, the app is called InstaPhoto and it is currently available in the BlackBerry App World. The app is priced at $2.99 and offers built-in integration with the camera as well as 25 preset effects for jazzing up your pictures. Plus, there is the sharing, which can be easily done with your friends on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
With that, the feature set breaks down as follows;

- Easy to get started, simply choose a preexisting photo or snap one right away. Camera integration runs directly within app, allowing you to take a photo and start instantly!
- Images save to a custom gallery folder, and are featured when you load the app, or you can opt to view the latest uploads on Twitter from your friends!
- Large preview images allow you to see an effect clearly before making a selection.
- Simple controls with stunning pre-set effects, it’s easy for anyone to use with just a tap of the finger!
- Quick rending, no long loading times for an effect.
- Unique effects creating interesting themes for your photos; periscope, mugshots, HUDs and many more!
