Sprint Makes It Official; HTC EVO 3D & HTC EVO View Will Be Available June 24th

Sprint Announces HTC EVO 3D & HTC EVO View Prices, $199.99 & $399.99 Respectively With The EVO View Coming With A Free HTC Scribe Pen

While we have seen plenty of rumor and speculation up until this point, Sprint has offered up the official announcement in terms of a release date and prices for the HTC EVO 3D smartphone and the HTC EVO View tablet. And those looking towards the tablet should be happy with the included freebie.

That being said, both devices will be available beginning June 24th. In addition, both devices are currently available for pre-order with Sprint. In order to place a pre-order you will need to visit a “participating” Sprint retail location and make a $50 (per device) deposit. Otherwise, Sprint Premier customers will also be able to purchase the EVO 3D a bit early. According to Sprint;

“Sprint Premier customers will have the opportunity to purchase HTC EVO 3D online three days before the national launch,”

With the release information out of the way, lets get into the pricing. First, the EVO 3D, this handset will be selling for $199.99 on a two-year agreement.

As for the EVO View, this one comes with bit of a surprise — a free HTC Scribe digital pen. The price of the EVO View will be $399.99 and as for that free pen, those who buy the tablet on a two-year agreement (at $399.99) will get the pen included at no additional charge. In other words, buy the EVO View tablet on contract and you will not have to spend an extra $80 on the Scribe pen.

And moving onto the plans. The EVO 3D will require a Sprint Everything Plan as well as the $10 per month Premium Data add-on charge. As for the EVO View, this one will have plans beginning as low as $34.99 per month with 3GB of 3G data and unlimited 4G data. Also included in the EVO View data plan is unlimited text, picture and video messaging.
