Computex 2011: Gigabyte Booktop T1125P Is a Convertible Notebook, Nettop & Tablet
It looks like Gigabyte has hit the mark with its hybrid/convertible Booktop, which can turn into whichever device you want, depending on need.

The Gigabyte Booktop T1125P is powered by a Core i3 or i5 ULV processor and fitted with an 11.6-inch capacitive touchscreen capable of multi-touch. The computer comes with a NVIDIA GeForce 410M graphics card with 1GB of video RAM, and THX TruStudio Pro speakers.
The computer is actually in an old-style tablet configuration, which means the screen can be swiveled and closed over the keyboard to act as a slate. However, the Booktop goes beyond that. Plug it onto its docking station and it expands into a nettop computer, complete with expansion ports and additional interfaces at the back, including DVD Super Multi Drive, HDMI, USB 2.0 and D-SUB.
It seems the Gigabyte Booktop is the same device Gigabyte announced last November, only that we haven’t seen any units shipped stateside. Gigabytes says the Booktop will only be available in Taiwan and China for now, though, so if you’re into such convertible devices, then you might be better of with other hybrid tablet choices.
