Computex 2011: MSI WindPad Enjoy 7 and Enjoy 10 to Sell at $199?

Android Powered Tablet Computers From MSI May Be Priced As Low As $199

MSI unveiled its WindPad Enjoy 7 and Enjoy 10 at Computex earlier this week. While no pricing details were announced, it seems MSI will be selling these at a starting price of $199.

Aside from the MSI WindPad 100A and 100W showcased at Computex, the company also announced budget tablet computers Enjoy 7 and Enjoy 10. Both the WindPad Enjoy 7 and Enjoy 10 will run an ARM Cortex A8 processor running at 1.2 GHz.  The Enjoy 7 comes with a 7-inch 800×480 pixel touchscreen, while the Enjoy 10 comes with a 10-inch screen outputting 1024×768 pixel resolution.

Both tablets are said to run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will have anywhere between 4 to 6 hours battery life. Perhaps the biggest news about the MSI WindPad tablets is that they are reported to have a starting price below $200. The 7-inch Enjoy 7 will sell at $199, while the 10-inch Enjoy 10 will sell at $299.

One might have concern with the fact that the WindPads will run Android Gingerbread instead of Honeycomb. But the prices are attractive enough to make these budget tablets a good buy, possibly lower-priced counterparts of the more expensive WindPad 100A and 100W.
