Barack Obama Receives The Witcher 2 From Poland [US President Barack Obama Visits Poland, Leaves With a Shiny New Copy of The Witcher 2 & an iPad Packed With Polish Movies]

U.S. President Barack Obama is (hopefully) a very busy man, but that doesn’t mean he can’t take some time out and kick back with a video game or two, right? That’s what Polish Prime Minster Donald Tusk is hoping, gifting the President a copy of CD Projekt’s The Witcher 2, among other things, on his recent trip to the European country.

Tusk also handed over an iPad loaded with some Polish movies and some signed copies of books by The Witcher author Andrzej Sapkowski, but we all know the coolest thing is the video game. It isn’t so surprising that Tusk wanted to share The Witcher 2 with the President, either – after all, The Witcher series has become Poland’s claim to fame in the world of video games, and the success of The Witcher 2 has made it a pretty hot topic lately.

I’m not sure what’s cooler: that Donald Tusk is proud of the video games that are produced in his country, or that Barack Obama owns a hardcore PC RPG. The chances of him playing it are probably pretty slim, but you have admit that it gives you a pretty fuzzy feeling as a gamer to picture the President playing through Geralt’s adventures late at night in the Oval Office.

Do you think he’ll give The Witcher 2 a spin? Does the President even have a rig that can handle it? Let us know your thoughts on this story in the comments section below.

I like to think that while I’m playing Skyrim after disappearing from work for a week (sorry everyone), Obama is playing it at the same time I am,

If you’re talking about rocket-propelled grenades though, who isn’t into those?
