Hulk Hogan Is Going to Teach You How to Wrestle With Kinect
Just when you thought Kinect was going to be left without that killer app, Hulk Hogan steps in and saves the day. Majesco – publisher of the Cooking Mama series and Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum – has teamed up with the Hulkster to bring us Hulk Hogan’s Main Event, and you’ve been tasked with wowing the crowd by emulating his famous poses and combos.

“Listen up, people! You will feel the power of Hulkamania when you step into this game,” Hulk said in the press release announce the gtitle. “Whether you are taking the damage or selling the pain, this game will let you unleash your inner wrestler as you hype up the crowd while putting the hurt on anyone that stands in your way!”
Majesco says that 30 different combos will be available, and that the game will sport a “robust create-a-wrestler feature including many choices for face, hair, tattoos, outfit, ethnicity, body type, and entrance music.” There’s going to be a total of nine different venues to duke it out in, and you’ll be able to watch your wrestler grow from Hulk Hogan underling to bona-fide superstar. Perhaps the most exciting part of the announcement, however, is Majesco promising a “wide variety” of objects to bash skulls with.
Joking aside, this seems like it could be a pretty cool concept, provided it’s done correctly (and it also seems like it could make a good candidate for an eventual Move port). We may be in for a preview of the title at E3 too, with the press release saying that Hogan will appear at the expo on June 7. There’s no official release date set yet, but Majesco and developer Panic Button LLC say they’re shooting for a fall 2011 release on Xbox 360.
