Hideo Kojima Answers Fans' Questions, No Metal Gear Soild 5 Reveal At E3
Hideo Kojima recently took some time out to sit down and answer questions from Metal Gear fans in the latest podcast from Kojima Productions. Not only did we discover that Kojima is a man of very few words, answering questions with only a yes or no answer, but also that there isn’t all that much coming up for the Metal Gear series.

Perhaps the biggest question fans have is whether or not Metal Gear Solid 5 will be revealed at E3 this year. Unfortunately, that got a no from Kojima, and it appears that he may not be showing up at E3 at all, since he also said that he wouldn’t be at Microsoft’s press conference.
As well, Kojima said that Metal Gear Solid 4 is not coming to NGP, that Gray Fox isn’t the main character in Metal Gear Solid: Rising, and that Metal Gear Solid: Rising’s release date isn’t November 1. Yeah, Kojima said “no,” a lot during this Q & A session.
However, there were a couple of bright spots in his interview, with Kojima responding in the affirmative when asked if Metal Gear Solid 3D will be released on the 3DS by the end of the year, and teasing that Kojima Productions had something big planned for Metal Gear’s 25th Anniversary.
What they’ve got planned is anyone’s guess, and with Metal Gear’s 25th anniversary still more than year off, we’ll probably be waiting a while to find out. If I were to hazard a guess, though, I’d say that there’s a good chance we’ll see HD remakes of Metal Gear Solid 1-3. What do you think? What would you like to see them do for Metal Gear’s 25th?
