32GB Asus Eee Pad Transformer Now Available

Online Retailers Accepting Pre-Orders for 32GB Asus' Hybrid Tablet/Netbook Combo at $499 to $599

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer launched to what is supposedly an unprecedented demand. While the company has been selling its 16GB model successfully, stores are now making the 32GB model available for sale or pre-order.

The Eee Pad Transformer is one of the cheaper Android Honeycomb tablets, selling at $400. but at this price, you get the model with 16GB storage, and users who need more space might be on the lookout for something with a bigger capacity. Stores have started listing the 32GB model as available, and are selling these at different prices.

B&H and Expansys are already listing the 32GB Eee Pad Transformer for $499. Best Buy has listed the tablet at $499.99, but is out of stock. However, some are selling it for more. Buy.com retails the 32GB model for $599, although they say the item is already in stock. Meanwhile, TigerDirect offers the tablet+HDMI cable bundle for $540, and says the tablet is currently available for same-day shipping.

So if you can’t wait for availability, you might be willing to shell out the $40 to $100 premium to get your hands on the 32GB Asus Eee Pad Transformer sooner than later. Note that these prices are for the tablet only; you’ll have to shell out additional funds for the keyboard base.
