Nokia C2-00 & X1-01 Are New Dual-SIM Featurephones
With all the networks competing for your attention (and money), what do you do? Buy a dual-SIM mobile phone, of course. Here are two new dual-SIM smartphones from Nokia.

The Nokia C2-00 and X1-01 are both dual-SIM featurephones from Nokia that come in a candybar form factor. Nokia is releasing the two models to certain regions including Asia/Pacific, China, Africa, Brazil, the Middle East and other developing regions.
Both phones are targeted at folks who want to be able to communicate using different numbers without the need to carry two phones. Priced at about $65 for the C2-00 and $48 for the X1-01, both devices are also targeted at the entry-level market or at least people who prefer not to carry $500 smartphones in their pockets.
The Nokia X1-01 comes with a very loud speakerphone and a very long standby time. The X1-01 can last a month and a half on standby–perfect for just slipping in your pocket without the need for a daily charge. Meanwhile, the C2-00 is more feature-rich, as it runs Nokia’s Symbian Series 40 operating system, and can run apps using the Java platform.
Both the C2-00 and X1-01 feature dual-standby, which means both SIM cards are simultaneously active, and can receive calls and SMS without the need to switch back and forth. The C2-00 even has a hot-swappable SIM slot so that users can easily switch one of the installed SIMs with another without having to turn the phone off.
