Crysis 2 Double XP Weekend Going On Now

Grab your Nanosuit and stock up on Mountain Dew, because you’re staying in this weekend and doing nothing by Crysis 2 multiplayer. Yep, there’s another double XP weekend going on, but unlike most of the double XP events that have taken place lately, this one is happening across all three platforms.

Crytek’s getting things going early for this event – in fact, it’s going on right now and it’ll last all the way until Monday, May 30 at 3 AM ET. There’s a bit more to this double XP weekend what you’re used to, though, as the folks at MyCrysis have revealed that they’ll be keeping an eye on everyone’s stats throughout the weekend, and when the double XP event wraps they’ll be handing out prizes to the top XP earners on each individual platform. Here’s the list of all the Crysis swag up for grabs.

The MyCrysis team stresses that this competition isn’t about how much XP you already have, but how much XP you earn throughout the weekend, so everyone has an equal shot at winning a prize. There’s no restrictions on game modes or maps either – as long as it’s an online multiplayer match, you’ll land double XP.

The only problem now is figuring out what to play if you’re a PS3 owner: SOCOM 4, which has its own double XP event going on right now, or Crysis 2? What are you playing this weekend?
