Valve Offering Portal 2 Soundtrack For Free [Download the First Part of the Portal 2 Soundtrack 'Songs To Test By' For Free, Ringtones For Android & iPhone Available As Well]
Man, Valve sure does like giving stuff away for free. In addition to saying they’ll make the first Portal 2 DLC free, they’ve now moved onto offering an album’s worth of Portal 2 songs for free. The album, titled “Songs To Test By,” is the first of a three-part collection of the songs that make up Portal 2′s soundtrack.

“Bolstered by recent breakthroughs in the field of jazz smoothing, Aperture announced today the first of three downloadable aural stimulus packages,” the official website said.
“Whether you’re a mega-science corporation with decades of test experience, or a young start-up liberating your first test subject from non-testing with a chloroform-soaked rag, Aperture guarantees results. Wake up your test subject, open the chamber door, and press play–let Aperture’s patent-pending rhythmic compliance enhancers do the rest.”
There’s no word on if the next two installments will be free like “Songs To Test By,” but it seems likely that they will. If you just can’t get enough of the Portal 2 soundtrack, the website also has a variety of ringtones for you to pick out for your Android device or iPhone, and with ringtones like “I Saw A Deer Today,” and “Science Is Fun,” up for grabs, you really can’t say no.
You can head over to thinkwithportals.com to pick up your free copy of the 22-song soundtrack and whatever ringtones catch your fancy.
