Asus Shows Off The "Next Evolution" Of The Eee PC
It looks like Asus has continued the Computex 2011 announcement teasing. Just a few days back we saw the image which showed a (for lack of better word) device with some text that read “pad or phone” and today they have returned, except thankfully this one gives a tiny bit more in terms of what to expect.

That said, this latest tease does give a tiny bit more, but at the same time it still leaves plenty to wonder about. So without further adieu, this latest teaser is for an Eee PC, which Asus has noted as being “the next evolution of the Eee PC.”
And while we see the term Eee PC we immediately think of a netbook, more specifically a 10 inch netbook. Of course, there have been some Eee PC branded computers with displays larger than 10 inches. Either way, this guy has always been a fan of the Eee PC lineup and am anxiously awaiting Computex at this point.
As far as details, we can see from the image that the Eee appears to be rather thin. Or at least the image makes it appear to be ultra-thin. Still, there are lots of details that we need to learn such as the display size, the specs and probably more interesting at this point — what operating system will it be running. Speaking personally, I have been living in the cloud and running my current Eee PC with Jolicloud for some time now. Given that, I would like to hope that we see Asus unveil an Eee branded Chromebook. The ChromEee, maybe.
With that, its all speculation at this point. Still, judging from this and the previous teaser and it looks like Asus may have a few goodies to look forward to seeing. Plus, they have another tease coming on May 27th and then May 29th.
