Square Enix Announces Dungeon Siege III Demo [Dungeon Siege III Demo Releasing On May 31, Xbox 360 Gets It One Week Before PS3 & PC]
Square Enix and Obsidian are gearing up to release Dungeon Siege III next month, a sequel that fans have waited nearly six years for. But with Gas Powered Games leaving the series behind, is it going to be any good? Well, today Square Enix revealed that they’ll be releasing a Dunegon Siege III demo across all platforms, allowing you to check out this generation’s iteration of the Kingdom of Ehb a few weeks prior to the full game’s launch.

Unfortunately, like the Crysis 2 demo before it, Microsoft has called dibs. Unlike the Crysis 2 demo, however, the developer isn’t stringing PC and PS3 owners along by keeping the release date for their versions under wraps. The difference isn’t huge either, with the 360 demo releasing on May 31 and the PS3 and PC versions releasing only a week later, on June 7.
Dungeon Siege 3 has gained a lot of attention since its reveal last year, and some are excited to see what Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian is bringing to the table since taking over the main series from Gas Powered Games. Still, there’s a few who are worried that Dungeon Siege III will be riddled with bugs like some previous Obsidian titles, and if the bugs found in New Vegas are any indication, we may be in for a bumpy ride.
Dungeon Siege 3 releases for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on June 17 in Europe and June 21 in North America.
