Launcher Pro Developer Shows Off Windows Phone 7 Themed Music Player For Android
The app has yet to receive a name, however those using Android and digging the look of Windows Phone 7 may want to check out the latest from Federico Carnales. The app is an Android music player that is sporting a rather convincing Windows Phone 7 theme.

And by convincing, at first glance (assuming you did not see or look at the top bar), the screenshots look like the Metro UI theme that you would find on a Windows Phone device. Anyway, for those who may not recognize the developers name, you may already have another app of his — Launcher Pro. With that, his latest offering is a music app and it was recently announced by way of Twitter;
“ALPHA preview of my upcoming WP7ish music app! (It doesn’t have a name yet, name contest coming soon!) http://bit.ly/l1P1Zp“
As for the app, aside from the looks it is rather simple at the moment. Still, you can do the most of what you would want or need such as play music, shuffle your tracks, create playlists and browse the music files that you have. And as you can see from the above screenshot, the look is very Zune like.
With that, those interested can follow the link in the above quote to download the app. Just remember, it is currently in alpha status so your experience may vary. Of course, you will need to be able to install third party non-Market apps on your device in order to actually install and run it. But in the meantime, check it out and maybe think of some good names for that contest he teased about. Plus, judging from how responsive we have seen Federico with Launcher Pro, we assume he will also take feature suggestions. Bottom line, this could shape up to be a nice music app.
