Amazon Electronics Trade-In Store Launched
Gadgets often become obsolete very quickly, and just a few months after buying your smartphone, tablet, media player, or other device, there’s something newer, better and often even cheaper. What will you do with your old, unwanted stuff?
You can sell them on eBay, hand them down to your kids, or trade them up for something new. Online retailers and service providers like eBay, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others, have been accepting used gadgets in exchange for new devices or credits. Now, Amazon is joining in on the gadget trade-up game, as it expands its trade-in program to electronic devices.
Amazon’s Electronics Trade-In Store lets you can trade-in mobile phones, tablets, MP3 players, digital cameras, GPS receivers, and other electronic gadgetry in exchange for Amazon credits. You will simply need to list your gadgets and their condition, and Amazon will propose a price offer. You then get a box, and shipping is free. Amazon gift card credits are given after your gadgets are inspected.
Amazon gift cards can then be used on various Amazon items, including books, gadgets, digital downloads, apparel, and a whole lot more. Sounds better than letting your old phones, MP3 players, tablets and other gadgets eat dust in your desk drawer.
