Motorola Droid S10-HD Headphones Spotted At Verizon Stores [Motorola Releases $100 Wireless "Sweat Proof" Bluetooth Headphones With HD Audio]

A few weeks ago, we saw Motorola introduce the first “non-Android Droid”, which was simply the Droid CommandOne headset. Now, we’ve got another Droid accessory, also from Motorola. The folks at Droid-Life have got images of the Droid S10-HD, some rather expensive Bluetooth headphones for Droid devices.

The packaging for the device promises that the Droid S10-HD headphones can go from “working out to hanging out”. They’re sweatproof, and also have “high def” sound, as well. The S10-HD headphones aren’t anything new, we hear, but they’re normally $79 while the Droid-branded ones are $99, and that includes an armband for taking your Droid phone with you while jogging. Sounds like the extreme pricing of the Droid accessories is continuing – remember that they were asking $129.99 for the Droid CommandOne Bluetooth headset.

The Motorola press release for the original S10-HD headphones promise features like 8 hours of battery life, with 10 days of standby time, and multiple ear buds, and the aforementioned HD audio. It also does other nice little software features like automatically pausing the music when you’re getting a call, etc. etc. As everybody knows, the Android media player isn’t great, but it should be enough for gym rats to play the tunes and use this, if you’re willing to dish out the $100 for these Droid Bluetooth headphones.

With Motorola already coming out with two Droid accessories, you’ve got to wonder if we’ll see more soon. We’ve seen Droid cases and such before, but never accessories like this in my memory. Maybe we’ll see… special Droid car chargers? Time will tell what else Motorola and Verizon will bring out with the Droid branding.
