Xbox Live Members (In The US) Will All Receive A Free Week Of Hulu Plus On The Xbox 360 Beginning Tomorrow [Jack Link's Beef Jerky Goes Hulu Plus Crazy, Sponsors Free Week Of Service For All US-Based Xbox Live Members]
As we recently told you, Hulu Plus will soon be available on the Xbox 360. In fact, it is all set to arrive tomorrow April 29th. But the good news to that, there will also be a free week of watching thrown in. Of course, as someone who is already a paid Hulu Plus subscriber, I can say that this is simply a tease and will likely cause some to sign up.

Granted, that is most likely the reason behind the promotion. Then again, the free week offer is not coming by way of Hulu, but instead thanks to beef jerky. Yup, beef jerky. As it turns out, Jack Link’s Beef Jerky will be sponsoring the free week of Hulu Plus service.
The details come by way of Major Nelson, who has stated that “all Xbox LIVE members (Free or Gold) will be able to enjoy Hulu Plus on Xbox LIVE.” And as a word of caution, we suspect that should read all Xbox Live members in the US as Hulu Plus is currently only available in the US. Furthermore, those interested in checking out the service will not be required to have a Hulu Plus subscription or Xbox LIVE Gold membership.
The free week will run from tomorrow April 29th through May 6th and then at that time you will either have to pay up or stop watching. And for those wondering, Hulu Plus is currently priced at $7.99 per month.
And while we are still working out the details, we suspect that this free sponsored week will be able to be used in addition to the free week that everyone can get before signing up. In other words, you should be able to knock out two-free weeks without much effort. Otherwise, students who sign up with a .edu email address can now get one month free.
