White iPhone 4 Jailbreak Possible Right After Launch as Limera1n Exploit Still in Place [Hackers Say White iPhone 4 Is Jailbreak-Friendly; Unlock, Not So Much]
The iPhone 4, in white flavor, will finally arrive tomorrow, April 28, and despite we witness one of the toughest deliveries from Apple in latest times, the white smartphone will be on shelves in various Apple and carrier stores. One of the questions we, and others, immediately thought of was whether Apple has taken any steps to block the current jailbreak tools on the white iPhone 4.

As you already know, that limera1n exploit that is the basis for all jailbreak versions used on the iDevices launched by Apple up to the iPad 2 will work on them no matter what iOS version Apple throws at them. In order to patch these devices and prevent jailbreaks Apple would need a hardware revision, so therefore brand new gadgets, just like the iPad 2 (which isn’t jailbreakable yet), for example, and the white iPhone 4 just isn’t a new piece of hardware.
It wouldn’t make any sense modifying the actual hardware of the white iPhone 4, would it? After all it’s the same iPhone 4 we know, so why would Apple make an extra effort to change the whole production and assembly procedure the iPhone 4 goes through especially considering the CDMA iPhone 4 also kept in place the same jailbreak wholes? Not to mention that the iPhone 5 is coming in just a few months so Apple is probably more focused on making the production transition from the iPhone 4 to the next level rather than patching iPhone jailbreaks.

All that is (or at least should be) different with the white iPhone 4 is that white coat of paint, which was so difficult to properly apply. Therefore this model will most likely ship with iOS 4.3.2 which is already jailbreakable, the untethered way.
According to @iH8sn0w, already a famous jailbreak developer, the white iPhone 4 will have no difficulty with current jailbreaks. In fact, considering the tools out there, you’ll be able to go for an untethered jailbreak the minute you take that white unicorn out of its box, although we would never advise you to put your gadgets through such procedures, and it would be your whole responsibility for what happens to the device while jailbreaking it. But if you do jailbreak it then you’ll either need the latest version of Redsn0w or PwnageTool, so check the links for more info!
As for the white/black/purple iPhone 4 unlock tool, well, you know the drill: keep waiting!
