Verizon Officially Launches The Unleashed Pre-Paid Calling Plans
Verizon has quietly confirmed the Unleashed pre-paid calling plans, of which there is one monthly and two daily rate options available. All three include unlimited Mobile to Mobile calling on the Verizon network, however the monthly plan also offers unlimited text messages and mobile web.

The monthly plan is probably the most attractive here given there is little to worry about aside from paying your $50 each month, however the daily plans may be of value for some. That said, the monthly plan includes unlimited mobile to mobile calling on Verizon, unlimited night and weekend minutes, unlimited anytime minutes, unlimited text, picture and video messages and unlimited mobile web. And for those not as familiar with the term ‘mobile web’ — keep in mind that is not a full data plan that you would find with a post-paid smartphone plan.
Moving on to the daily rate plans, those include an option for $1.99 per day and $0.99 per day. The $1.99 per day plan includes unlimited mobile to mobile calling, unlimited nights and weekend minutes and unlimited anytime minutes. The $0.99 per day plan includes only the unlimited mobile to mobile calling.
Otherwise, the $1.99 per day plan will set you back 2 cents per message. The $0.99 per day plan will cost you 10 cents per minute for nights and weekends, 10 cents per minute for anytime minutes and 10 cents per message. And lastly, both of the per day plans come with a $0.99 per day charge for mobile web access.
With that, for those who even fear the day commitment, there is one final option — pay as you use. Of course, this will likely add up rather fast with a $0.25 per minute charge for calls and a $0.20 charge for each message.
As for paying for and keeping your account topped off and active, payments can be made by way of the My Verizon section on the Verizon Wireless website as well as by using your phone, visiting a store or calling customer service.
