PC & Mac Versions Of Jurassic Park: The Game Delayed Until Fall [Telltale Delays Jurassic Park: The Game On PC & Mac, Offering Free Games To Those Who Pre-Ordered As An Apology]

Bad news for those of you anxious to return to Isla Nublar in Telltale’s upcoming episodic Jurassic Park game: your departure has been delayed until fall. Thankfully though, it isn’t because the dinosaurs have escaped and gone on a murderous rampage – some of them may have a brain the size of a peanut, but they’re polite enough to wait to rampage and murder until you get there.

Instead, Telltale CEO Dan Connors is citing the need for polish and to “take the game to the next level” for the delay. This means that Jurassic Park: The Game will launch simultaneously on all platforms, so Xbox 360 and PS3 owners won’t need to worry about sitting on the sidelines and watching PC and Mac players get ripped to shreds or impaled before they get their shot at almost certain death.

As an apology, Connors said that those who pre-ordered Jurassic Park: The Game on PC or Mac will be given a 100% refund, as well as a free Telltale game of their choosing. Just think, if 3D Realms had done something like this to apologize for the various delays of Duke Nukem Forever throughout the years, you could have the entire 3D Realms catalog by now (and probably even a few Gearbox games as well).

There’s been no new release date announced yet, but Connors said that Telltale will be contacting those of you who pre-ordered within the next couple of days to issue your refund and hook you up with your free game.
