US Mobile Users Prefer Android Over iPhone
Android has long started to surpass the iPhone in terms of sales and market share. However, in terms of desirability, the iPhone had traditionally been the more coveted smartphone. Not for long, as a Nielsen survey says.

Data from a recent Nielsen poll indicates that American smartphone users want Android more than they want iPhone. Between January and March this year, 31% of smartphone buyers said they preferred Android, while 30% said they preferred the iPhone.
Just late last year (July to September), only 26% wanted Android, while 33% wanted iPhone.
What tipped the scale towards Android? While Android is currently a market leader, we can say that’s because of several factors and not just desirability. Many Android phones are priced way below iPhone prices, especially those entry-level and mid-range Android handsets that are light on the wallet and light on features, too. Then again, there are Android “super” phones that can do just about anything–even more than the iPhone can. Also, it’s still a close game, with 31% vis-a-vis 30%.
Is it a question of wanting a smartphone for the features and capabilities? Or is it about buying what’s affordable and reasonable?

I agree with Jonathan. Google seems amateur compared to Apple products.
