Google Docs Folder Upload Now Available [Google Now Lets You Upload Entire Folders of Documents to the Cloud, While Preserving Directory Structure]
Google is ramping up its cloud computing capabilities with new Google Docs features. Now, users can upload entire directories of documents, spreadsheets and presentations in one go.

Google previously launched a drag-and-drop interface for uploading documents in conjunction with its Chrome browser (using HTML5). This adds to the ease by which users can upload files. Now, with a latest update, Google adds a new upload menu, which features entire-folder uploading.
When you upload a folder, the directory structure is preserved, so this is a good way of replicating, backing up or working on your documents directly from any computer. Google Docs also lets you upload files and folders simultaneously through drag-and-drop.
If you’d rather use desktop doc editors than a browser-based word processor, spreadsheet or presentation app, you might want to check out Google Cloud Connect. But if you have a lot of documents to manage and you work using several computers, then Google Docs is one option.
