T-Mobile G-Slate & LG G2x Available in Stores Today
LG launched a bunch of high-end Android devices this year, and we’ve seen most of them live at CES and/or MWC already. Two versions of LG’s new flagship devices, a tablet, the G-Slate and a smartphone, the G2x, are going to be available in T-Mobile stores starting today.

The G-Slate, also known as the LG Optimus Pad, will cost you $529.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate as long as you’re ready to ink a new two-year agreement with T-Mobile. The G-Slate is definitely a competitive iPad 2 rival and it’s certainly a tablet that will be a tough competitor for the Motorola Xoom or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
The G-Slate is an 8.9-inch device that offers a 1,280 x 768 resolution, a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU, 3D graphics hardware acceleration, two 5-megapixel cameras on the back with LED flash and 3D image capture support, 3D 720p video capture, 1080p HD video capture, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB built-in memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB, 3.5mm, HDMI, DLNA support and Android 3.0 Honeycomb under the hood.

The G2x started selling online just a few days ago, and the first handset in the world to offer a dual-core processor will cost you $199.99 with a new two-year contract in T-Mobile stores too. The phone is definitely worth considering, especially if you’re on the prowl for a new Android smartphone, and, in case you forgot, it’ll offer you a 4-inch touchscren display, 800 x 480 resolution, 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 8GB of internal memory, 512MB RAM, 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, HD video recording, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, GPS, a 1,500mAh batter and stock Android 2.2 Froyo on board (with high hopes for a Gingerbread upgrade.)
So, T-Mobile subscribers, you have a tough decision ahead. What will you purchase? The G-Slate, the G2x or maybe both?
