iOS 4.3.2 Untethered Jailbreak Available for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 & iPod touch; iPad 2 Still Left Out
iOS 4.3.2 was jailbroken, the tethered way, from day one, which is something we’ll expect for all of Apple’s future firmware updates, at least the ones that will be available for the current iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G and the iPad 1.

Thereafter we found out that the untethered exploit which made the iOS 4.3.1 untethered exploit available was still in place and it looks like the iPhone Dev Team made everything official. “The untether rolls on” says a post on the Dev Team’s site which basically announces Redsn0w 0.9.6rc14, now available for download for the masses.
The new Redsn0w version is going to offer you the iOS 4.3.2 untethered jailbreak for the same devices mentioned above. That means the iPad 2 is still left out of the jailbreak party, so you’ll still have to wait for the second Apple tablet to be officially hacked.
The same precautions are in place here, iDevice owners, so make sure you backup your data and pay extra attention to the jailbreak procedure itself, not that we’d ever advise you to go use such tools on any of your gadgets in the first place. In case you want to unlock the iPhone after jailbreaking it, no matter if we’re talking about the iPhone 4 or the iPhone 3GS, you’d better stay away of the Redsn0w update and get your firmware through a custom IPSW.
In case you have used Redsn0w rc13b to jailbreak your iPhone 4 (tethered jailbreak) then you can use Redsn0w rc14 over your current installation to get the untethered jailbreak.
Speaking about the iPhone 4 unlock mentioned in the previous paragraph, I meant early iPhone 4 units that have older baseband and therefore can be unlocked via Ultrasn0w. Most iPhone 4 units are still unlockable using the current tools out there, and we have no idea when a public unlock method will be released. Although there are certain unlock procedures out there that would free you from your current carrier, for the right price.
We’ll be back with more iOS jailbreak and unlock news in the following weeks, so make sure you follow us on Twitter and subscribe to our feed to get all the updates!
