Three UK White iPhone 4 Product Listing Becomes An "Inactive" & "Hidden Page"

It Was Good To Be Skeptical, The White iPhone 4 Listing With Three UK Is Now Hidden

Yesterday afternoon we saw a white iPhone 4 come available for purchase with Three UK. And while we remained rather skeptical, the link appeared to be valid and working. At least in our case we were able to add the iPhone to a cart, choose our plan and then move to the address entry field.

But perhaps a little more telling, we were able to do that without getting any error or not available messages. Of course, all of that appears to be a mute point at this time because the unicorn like white iPhone 4 is no longer listed and no longer showing as available with Three.

Honestly, it seemed a bit anti-climatic to just show up that way. Not to mention nothing coming from Apple, granted, its a phone that should have been released quite some time ago but you would think they will at least offer up a short press release.

But back to Three UK, it seems they have since removed that listing and have both “hidden” it and made it “inactive.” The details from Three UK come by way of the SlashGear tech blog who were provided the following statement;

“This page is not live at the moment, it was built at the same time as the iPhone black page so that we have it ready when and should the time come to launch white. For now, it’s a hidden page that’s inactive.”

And with that, it looks like we are once again back to the land of rumors in terms of the white iPhone 4. But then again, given this was never as it had seemed, maybe we have never left the land of rumors with the white iPhone 4. With that, we are left wondering if anyone managed to get an order placed and actually receive confirmation. Granted, they would likely have since received a cancellation, but still it would have been interesting to see.
