64GB White iPhone 4 or iPhone 5 Prototype Shows iOS 5 Potential Features
The white iPhone 4 is going to hit stores at some point in the very near future, maybe even later this week if certain rumors are to be believed. But today we’re not going to talk about any of the upcoming white iPhone 4 models that will be available from various carriers in the following months. Instead we have a new video, originating from Vietnam that shows us some sort of iPhone 4/iPhone 5 prototype running a beta iOS 4 or iOS 5 version.

The iPhone model we see today looks very much like the current iPhone model so chances are that we’re rather looking at an iPhone 4 than the new iPhone 5. The only obvious thing is that this iPhone is sporting more memory than it should. We read XXGB on the back of the phone and the videos shows us that we’re looking at a 64GB version.
But let’s move to the firmware this iPhone 4/5 is running. It’s not a simple iOS 4 version and in fact we might be looking at the first new features of iOS 5, an OS that’s supposed to be launched at some point this summer after being announced at WWDC 2011.
What we have for you today, or better said what the guys in Vietnam have uncovered, and they happen to have a pretty good track of reliable Apple tips, is a new Expose-like multitasking menu, a new Folders design and a new Spotlight search placement.
Instead of the multitask bar you’d usually see at the bottom of the screen you’d now have an actual screen filled with minimized screens showing the apps running in the background. You can get back into any of them by clicking on the appropriate screen or close any of them, which is what you’d expect from this menu in the first place. The Spotlight search button has been moved on top of the Expose screen, which means you won’t have to flick sideways to the left the main Home screen to search for stuff on your smartphone.
Last but not least we have a new Folders design, one that’s not really required, but goes well with the new multitasking animation.
Naturally we can’t, and won’t, guarantee these features are coming to iOS 5 or that we’re indeed looking at the next-gen Apple smartphone here. We will however point out that even if we’re looking at a jailbroken device here, on that has been messed with to offer the features above, we’re still looking at a 64GB iPhone unit, which is not what any of the iPhones launched to date can offer.

When he goes into ‘about’ phone section you can see how it says version 4. Something…. It doesn’t say five you can’t clearly see it but you can see a top of a number and that number isn’t 5 but 4. Jailbroken maybe? Very interesting
I see it… ip 4 64gb that’s strange, was it meant for verizon?……….
